HOW IS THE CHURCH ORGANIZED

Seventh-day Adventists organize themselves through four levels, from each individual member to the global organization:

The local Church is an organized body made up of individual members;
The local Association / Mission is a body organized and made up of the churches of a state, province or territory; The Union is the conformation of the associations / missions of the fields within a wider territory.

For example: South-Brazilian Union, includes the states of the South region of Brazil; The General Conference is the unit that includes the entire organization, and is made up of all the divisions around the world.

Divisions are sections of the General Conference, with assigned administrative responsibility for specific geographic areas. In the case of South America, eight countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay) are part of the South American Division, based in Brasilia.

The other Central American countries (Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, French Guiana, and Suriname) are part of the Inter-American Division.
