"I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, petitions and thanksgivings be made for all men [...]. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth ". 1 Timothy 2: 1-4.

WESLEY Duewel is right: "You can love more people through prayer that no other way" (Mighty Prevailing Prayer, p. 116). If this is the peak time of history and the world moves between friends, what form may have to love our more powerful than through prayer lost friends? After all, says Paul in our text, "this is good and acceptable before God our Savior." Therefore, we see five ways for the lost love through prayer.

 1. Make a list. This may include your list "My friends who need Jesus," but is not necessarily limited to it. I decided to combine my prayer lists all in one that I keep separately in my schedule of daily prayer. This list will grow and become long, because you will write down the name of everyone, friends or not, known or not, beneficiaries of the desire for prayer that God put in you. Lost family members, lost friends, co-lost golf, lost students, teachers lost -any person you interests you need to know Christ and his truth, those are the ones listed here intercessory prayer. I include strangers who have met on board aircraft, and some well-known preachers I've never seen at all. After all, Paul is adamant: "I exhort [...] to become [...] requests [...] for all men [...]. This is good and pleases God our Savior. "

 2. Pray following the list. Should you pray following this list every day? You can, but not necessary. I decided to pray following my list once a week on Friday morning. But the crux here is that no good having a prayer list if you do not pray following her! Ellen White points out that this type of intercessory prayer has an impact on our lives. "As we seek to win others to Christ, bearing the burden of souls in our prayers, our own hearts will throb with the quickening influence of the grace of God; our own affections will glow with more divine fervor; our whole Christian life will be more real, more earnest, more prayerful "(Christ's Object Lessons, p. 289).

Notice how closely they are united spiritual vitality and personal development with attunement to the divine passion to seek and save the lost through intercessory prayer. Why? Because when you pray for the lost by name, you practice the divine passion of Calvary and tune with its crimson power. Undoubtedly, The love of God for the lost children of the earth is the greatest power of the universe!
