Friday, July 1 - Where are you going. Youth Morning Watch
"Better a good end to a good start. He who has patience reach the goal "(Ecclesiastes 7: 8, NLT).
Of all the stories I've heard about Albert Einstein, there is one that always makes me laugh and think at the same time. They say that once the scientist was sitting comfortably on the train when a young man approached him and asked for the trip ticket. Noted scientist sought him in all his pockets, but could not find it. Seeing the despair that was etched on the face of Dr. Einstein, the boy said:
-Do not worry. I know you bought your ticket.
When the train was about to leave, the young man walked the halls once again to confirm that all passengers had their ticket. Realizing that Einstein was looking for the ticket, the boy said:
Doctor, do not worry. We all know who you are. To which the renowned physicist said:
Yes, I also know who I am. The problem is I do not know where I'm going.
Dr. Einstein's dilemma is constantly repeated in the lives of many young people. Where are you going? What are your short or medium term goals? You can probably guess that adverse life circumstances are allied against you. If that's the case, you should know that Helen Keller, who had the misfortune of being deaf and blind, said, "I can not do everything, but I can do something, and I refuse to stop doing what I can do." You know what it is that you do?
You do not have to wait for the start of a new year to refocus the fate of your life; you can trazarte a concrete goal now, although the year progresses. You're still in time to define where you want to go. As the sage said: "Better a good end to a good start. He who has patience reach the goal "(Ecclesiastes 7, 8, TLA). I believe in the words of C. S. Lewis we have received a very wise advice: "If your goal is heaven, also get the land. If your goal is to land, you will not get neither the earth nor heaven. " Therefore, regardless of where you want to get on this earth, please start looking for the path that leads to heaven.
